GWVICAP Interface Settings
Level 1
The Interface settings for the GWVICAP process are very limited. They define whether or not web traffic will be scanned on
Inbound and Outbound connections, the IP address that the process will use, and the maximum number of threads.
Level 2
Scan inbound web traffic - This option determines if inbound web traffic will be scanned. This means requests that end users are making, ie web browsing, downloading of files from the internet, etc, will be scanned.
Scan outbound traffic - This option determines if files that users are uploading to the Internet will be scanned. TCP/IP bind address (listen address) - The IP address that GWVICAP will use for networking. Maximum number of threads - The number of threads the GWVICAP process will use for listening for requests from the ICAP server.
