Reporting and Monitoring Setup
Reporting and Monitoring (R&M) Server
R&M server is a component that tracks performance data about the Retain jobs and server. This can be installed with the Retain server but may be installed onto its own server. Most often it is installed on the Retain server itself.
You set this up in the Retain Post Install Configuration step but we did not discuss it in any way. Now is the time to become familiar with it.

Home
The Home tab initially shows a list of job names, this is why you might want to be careful in the naming of your jobs and you can sort the jobs by clicking on the column headers.
Click on the job to reveal a list of the most recent ten jobs. The column headers here are also clickable.
- Clicking on the number link in the Error column to open a new window/tab with a list of the job errors. If the Job Run Occurrences column has a number, you can click on the error and get a list of the mailbox(es) that the error occurred on.
- Clicking on the job will reveal Job Detail and Job Mailbox Summary. Here you can sort by Error column and click on the link to get details from the particular mailbox.
