I'm not a fan of crossword puzzles – these are probably manageable, but The New York Times-variety hurts my brain – and I prefer my flashcards the old-fashioned way: on paper. I didn't think this was at all strange until I was at a drug store with a coworker the other day. As I waited in line to pay for the cards, she looked at me and said, "You're really getting those? Isn't there an app for that?"
