Retain 1.x
Any customer running 1.x code will have to upgrade to 1.8 before upgrading to 2.6.2
Retain 2.x
Any customer running 2.x code will have to upgrade to 2.6.2 before upgrading to 3.5.1.1

License patch
Retain 2.6.2 customers will be calling in when they renew their license because the new license will not work in their existing software (see The New Licenses in 2016 Do Not Work With Retain 3.5.0 and Earlier )
You will be installing the patch and I have included instructions for where to put the new License.class file in with the zip file located on our FTP server: [1]
Retain 3.x
Any customer running 3.x code will have to upgrade to 3.5.1.1 before upgrading to 4.x
