Ever since he was very small (he’s still only three now) I have discovered that I can rouse him from the deepest sleep by the simple act of falling asleep myself. It is always during that first blissful drop into sleep that he wakes, as if I emit some extrasensory “wump” that only he hears. It happens so frequently it cannot be coincidence. I wonder if anyone else has these same delusions.
