I would suggest that we worry about our relationship with our soldiers and not our relationship with the administration of afghanistan. We need to lose this idea that if we can just get elections in other countries they will see the benefits of democracy. Religious fanatics don’t want peace and happiness, they like the pain. We have the same problem in this country, except that we don’t have the factions warring yet, but they do like the pain.
