Dashboards

Dashboards are designed to provide information and statistics at a glance. There are several pages listed under the Dashboards section and they are fully customizable. You can add and delete pages as well as re-arrange them to fit your liking.

Each dashboard page can hold its own set of information. This information is provided in the user interface by 'gadgets'. GWAVA will come pre-installed with a few dashboard that each have a few gadgets. The gadgets that come installed default can be deleted or altered to fit the information needed. The gadgets can also be moved around within the dashboard to fit the layout that works best for the Administrators.

Gadgets that are on the dashboard pages gather their information from a Statistics Database that is stored within the program directories or GWAVA. Each time a message come in there are statistics gathered on the message. All the way from the inistial start of the email process to the end of the email process. Statistics are gathered and written for such things as domain names, triggers that fired for SPAM or other specific setting, Virus alert statistics, and much more. With all this information being gathered and stored it is not out of character to see the statistics database get rather large in size. GWAVA is designed to handle lots of information for the statistics database but like any other database and working program it can get cluttered. If gadgets or dashboards are not being used they should be deleted. They can always be added back in later.

Dashboard control Panel

Within the dashboard control panel is where you would add new dashboard pages, delete existing dashboards or re-arrange the order the dashboards are viewed.
