The vast majority of jobs today are NOT manufacturing jobs. They are service industry jobs that pay squat and have few to no benefits. Those are the bulk of the jobs available. THAT is the problem. Apple, GE, etc, etc, etc, have moved their manufacturing jobs off shore. Millions of jobs that paid livable wages left this country during the corporate stampede that started under Reagan and has not stopped. | |
