After a few initial meetings in a cafe (because it was "nice to get out of the office"), I soon realised there was no office. I spent four months writing and designing promotional material on illegally cracked software for a business that did not exist, working either in a cafe or in the guy's living room. This was all on the promise that "investors" were waiting for the materials to be finished before they would fund the business, at which point I would have a paid position. |
