As it is, “Austenland” is as thin as a doily. Russell, who has more presence in small works (“Waitress”) than in larger ones (“Mission: Impossible 3”), gives it her all, but if not for Coolidge’s occasionally inspired outbursts, the movie would wilt even faster than it does.
