GWAVA has many different modules that perform different functions. These modules will explain how they work and the different roles they play in a GWAVA environment.

GWAVAMAN is simply the portion of GWAVA that the administator or other specified users will manage the settings and configuration for AntiVirus and AntiSpam protection.

The Quarantine Management System (QMS) is a tool used to store messages that were blocked or are being tracked.

The GWAVA process performs all scanning and tells the interface to block or not block a request.
[edit] GWVRELAY
GWVRELAY is a program that is designed to get released messages and notifications to end users or the administrator. Messages can be released from the Quarantine system, alerts about various programs, reports, and many notifications.

The GWAVAUPD process performs online updates and downloads new files when an update request is performed.

The GWAVAPOA process performs scans against a GroupWise POA to purge viruses or any content specified by the admin.
