Install on Windows Server 2008 R2, there may be a way on 2012 but I couldn't find a working way of doing it quickly enough.

Process
- Install Windows Server 2008 R2
- Set IP address and computer name
- Add VMware Tools
- Run Windows Update, so many times...
- Add DNS role
- Add IIS role
- Add Active Directory Domain Services Role, promote to Domain Controller
